A Triumph dolomite sprint Gr2 is ready to be disassembled and rebuilt from scratch in order to start racing again. This is a mainly racing car and really rare. Which makes it difficult to find spare parts.
The Triumph dolomite sprint Gr2 was manufactured in England, from 1972 to 1980. The car was designed by Giovanni Michelotti, one of the most prolific racing car designers of the 20th century. It is a 4-door sports car with FR layout, ie it has its engine at the front and its motion at the back. It has a 2 liter 16-valve 135 hp engine. Despite its weight, it catches 0-100 in 8.4 seconds, which made it irresistible, for many, in the 1970s.
Only 22.941 cars were produced from this model. The dolomite sprint have participated in races as group 1 and group 2 since 1974, with improved engines (up to 225 horses!) And it won many distinctions on tracks and rallies. So, we feel particularly lucky that one of them, a racing group 2, is in our hands, in order to be ready to go out for races again.

Our team has started dismantling the Triumph Dolomite sprint Gr2. After searching the world to find the proper, genuine spare parts, we are waiting for them…
Bodywork is carried out abroad, in order to begin to take its final form.
Our super rare car continues its transformation! Now, its exterior has been painted, its engine has been repaired, its oil pump has been changed,its gaskets, filters and more changes made.
All the mechanical parts of the engine have been taken care of and now it is time to put it back in the car.
As for the front, the wheel bearings, brakes, steering system have been changed, where necessary, the rest have been checked.
