BMW E30 M40

Another restoration was performed, by the experienced team of Capspeed! A BMWE30 M40 1600cc, radically renewed and is ready to hit the streets again, rediscovering its old glory!

Many changes have been made to the car, as you will see below. Everything that has been installed is from a BMW E30 327 super ETA. Always with a lot of passion, genuine spare parts and special care from our team!

Its reconstruction was both mechanical and aesthetic. More specifically:

It has a M40 B16 motor completely reconstructed!
The cylinder head was renewed with new camshaft, valve tappets, valves, etc.
Its brakes were replaced with disc brakes front and rear 325.
The gearbox was renewed , as the differential with step 4.10
All of its’ electrical equipment was transported from the American 327, after being inspected so that they are functional!
Its’ front and rear simple windows, were replaced by electrical ones.
Seats are made from genuine beige leather and they have headrest front and back.
Its’ bbs wheels were fully reconstructed, straightened and painted from scratch. So they look like new! They are accompanied by a brand new continental set of tires, in factory dimensions.
Its suspensions and silent block were replaced by new ones. They also, reinforced, where it was needed, so that the car has a new scroll!!!
It also has, a factory sunroof, as well as air conditioning!
