Capspeed Motorsport team is not overtaking easy projects! We have proved it in the past, many times, but this time, maybe we overdid it… a bit!
Our new project is about a yellow Simca Rallye 2. It is a difficult task to be completed, not only because the car is rare, but also because many parts of it, are rotten! Its years of immobility are many! However, its owner, who entrusted it to us, wants to see it moving again, and even…. racing!
Our challenges are many! This car, is a personal bet for our team, that it is made for difficulties! Finding its spare parts, is not an easy task. But we always “turn the world upside down” and find the right, genuine spare parts! Also, as you can see in the photos below, much of it, has rotted. We have to face this and make it like new. Its rotten parts should be rubbed and made like new! Finally, after many years of uselessness of the car, this restoration should turn it from a simple car into a racing one.
