Preparing for a big road trip requires a lot of planning and preparation ,from accessories,toys and an intensive inspections of your car all for a safe and fun trip. That’s why we’ve put together a list of the most essential items you should have in the car so you don’t forget anything and have a pleasant ride.
Make sure that your license is in your wallet or another safe place that you can easily access and that your license, insurance and car title are in a safe, easy and accessible place such as the glove box of your car before you leave for your trip.
Finally, don’t forget to check that everything is up to date and nothing will expire during your trip!
Your spare must be inflated with no visible signs of aging or damage such as cracks or punctures,also check that your car has all the tools to change a tire, should you need to, which may be missing if you buyed a used car.

If you develop a slow leak or your tire air pressure drops while you’re on the road, having an electric tire pump can be your best friend and get you through until you get to a vulcanizer.
Ideally before you start you should check the condition of your battery and make the necessary changes because nothing is worse then you battery to have a malfunctions with no one around to help you. So that’s why you have to make sure that you’re car has jumper cables and if you don’t have already, invest in a Booster so you’re not left with a dying battery in the middle of nowhere.
Although you should be covered by the car service before the trip, sometimes you may need to top up the oil or coolant in your car, especially if you have an older car. Also carry an extra bottle of coolant along with a funnel and some rags to keep the job clean
An obvious must for the prepared traveler is the first aid kit.
No one wants to spend a long day locked in a messy or smelly car so keep your friends happy by cleaning it from any unnecessary clutter and do it thoroughly to remove any dirt, food crumbs or spilled food and unpleasant smells.
