The 41st Portaria Hillclimb, took place last weekend (18-19 / 9/2021) with 119 participations!
The weather wasn’t good, in the area but it did not prevent many spectators to attend and enjoy the spectacle, observing, of course, all the health protocols for covid-19.
Both the spectators and the contestants, enjoyed with their souls, the hillclimb to the mountain of the Centaurs and made an appointment for the time!
Capspeed motorsport team stated this once again! Despite the difficulties, Kostas Kapourelakos at number 59, with the BMW E30 320is made a time of 6: 39.20 and managed to finish 4th out of the 8 competitors in his category, E11! Georgia Zambeli, ran with the number 23, in category A5 and filled experiences for the next races!
Kostas Kapourelakos said about their participations: “The weekend, at the 41st Portaria Ascent, the race for us had everything: a constant battle with time in a state of lack of traction, rain, overturns and brain puzzles for the best choice of tires and adjustments .. In all this, we had the participation of Georgia to fix our mood! The result was the 4th place in E11, the smooth finish of Georgia and a wonderful 4 days with many friends !! ”
